Cloud Engineer – Azure/AWS/GCP, Cloud Security & IAM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in cloud platforms, cloud security, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, cybersecurity, operations, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Business Engagement & Planning Establish trusted relationships with business stakeholders. Facilitate workshops to gather business needs, objectives, and challenges. Support strategic planning, demand intake, and initiative prioritization. Develop business cases and value realization frameworks. Business Analysis Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities. Document current-state and future-state business processes. Conduct gap analysis, risk assessments, and feasibility assessments. Define business requirements, success criteria, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Solution Development Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business objectives are clearly understood. Translate business requirements into user stories and functional requirements. Validate proposed solutions against business expectations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Project Delivery Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Support change management, training, and business readiness activities. Ensure delivered solutions align with business goals and expected outcomes. Assist with post-implementation reviews and benefits realization. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, controls, frameworks, and operational practices. Understanding of cloud security controls, including: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Zero Trust Architecture Encryption and compliance requirements Experience acting as a liaison between business, cybersecurity, operations, and technical teams. Experience analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into actionable outcomes. Expertise in developing and maintaining technical and operational documentation. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. Preferred Skills Experience with: Microsoft Entra ID AWS IAM Azure Key Vault Microsoft Defender for Cloud / Security Center Equivalent cloud security solutions Knowledge of scripting languages such as: PowerShell Python Bash Strong understanding of: VNets/VPCs VPNs ExpressRoute / Direct Connect DNS Load Balancers Firewalls Network Security Groups (NSGs) Core Skills Business Analysis Cyber Security Project Management Top 3 Must-Have Skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of cloud security controls, including IAM, RBAC, MFA, Zero Trust, encryption, and compliance requirements. Experience analyzing business and technical requirements while collaborating across business, cybersecurity, and technical teams. Top 3 Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, AWS IAM, Key Vault, Security Center, or equivalent solutions. Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting. Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VNets/VPCs, VPNs, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and NSGs.
