Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) ROLE Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable enterprise Pega solutions for banking programs, ensuring technical quality, reuse, platform best practices, and alignment across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 12+ years of IT experience, including 8-10 years of hands-on Pega PRPC experience across Pega 8.x and Pega Infinity 23.x or above. • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) on Pega 8.x or above. • 8+ years of Banking and Financial Services experience, including at least 3 years in AML/KYC. MUST-HAVE TECHNICAL & FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Strong architecture and hands-on design expertise across Pega Platform, case management, application layers, data models, security, and integrations. • Strong knowledge of Pega UI frameworks, including Cosmos and Constellation. • Knowledge of Pega Customer Service, Smart Dispute, and Smart Investigate frameworks. • Ability to design reusable enterprise components and establish scalable architecture patterns. • Strong knowledge of Pega Guardrails, performance, maintainability, coding standards, and design best practices. • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery models, with working knowledge of Jira. • Exposure to Pega BIX, Pega Survey, and Robotic Process Automation is preferred. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Own technical architecture and solution design across analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and production readiness. • Translate business and functional requirements into secure, scalable, reusable, and supportable Pega solutions. • Define architecture patterns, application structure, integration approaches, and reusable components for enterprise adoption. • Drive Pega design and coding best practices through design reviews, code reviews, technical governance, and Guardrail compliance. • Provide technical directions to developers and collaborate daily with onsite, nearshore, and offshore delivery teams. • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and performance considerations and recommend practical mitigation strategies. • Support troubleshooting, defect resolution, release planning, deployment validation, and post-production stabilization. • Partner effectively with business architects, product owners, system architects, security teams, and other enterprise stakeholders. MANAGERIAL & COLLABORATION SKILLS • Communicate technical concepts clearly to programmers, IT leadership, and non-IT functional stakeholders. • Work independently while contributing effectively as a collaborative team member and technical leader. • Mentor development teams, promote engineering discipline, and drive consistent delivery quality across locations. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PLSA). • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PSSA).
