We are looking for our new team member to be located anywhere in Calgary, AB as they will be working in a flexible hybrid arrangment with access to offices across the city. Accountabilities Holistic Financial Planning & Investment Design: Deliver comprehensive, tailored financial strategies and complex investment solutions, including mutual funds and securities, that support long-term wealth goals and adapt to evolving client complexity. Proactive Client Relationship Management: Anticipate client needs by providing timely, value-added guidance that connects personal aspirations to financial strategy and ensures a supportive client journey. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Utilize strong business judgment to coordinate with internal teams, driving client-focused results and ensuring seamless operational execution. Client Engagement & Trust Building: Proactively engage clients to challenge and refine their financial decisions, fostering deep, long-term trust and ensuring their best interests remain at the heart of every interaction. Operational & Advisory Workflow: Efficiently manage the end-to-end financial planning process, ensuring accurate service delivery while prioritizing meaningful client interactions. Skills, Experience & Requirements Proven ability to develop your book of business through leveraging community networks. Effective relationship building, communication and discovery skills. Ability to meet or exceed required sales goals. An established COI network. Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Demonstrated proficiency with the use of virtual communication tools. Highly organized and able to meet time sensitive deadlines. 10 years of sales and customer experience in the financial services industry (preferably Wealth Management) with proven ability to develop and grow a book of investment clients. Ability to be immediately registered as an RR (Registered Representative) through CIRO. Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Business or a related field (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered). Completed or working towards the QAFP and/or the CFP designation would be considered an asset. Don’t meet all the requirements on the list? Requirements
Candidates must have at least 10 years of sales and customer experience in the financial services industry with a proven ability to grow a book of business. An undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required, and the ability to be registered as an RR through CIRO is mandatory.
