Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking a General Helper to join our Camp Services team at Artemis Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia, approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. As the General Helper, you will play a key role with food preparation, sanitation, and safety by actively following our health and safety procedures. The rate for this position is $23.91 an hour. Rates may be subject to change. Responsibilities: To work safely with all the equipment The basic preparation of food, including the preparation of vegetables and snacks. Kitchen, general equipment, and facility clean up (table, floors, etc.) Responsible for inspecting the equipment and food on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Ensure your station is always manned and supplies are fully stocked Follow requirements of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System. Other duties as assigned by management from time to time Qualifications: Valid Food Safe Certificate Experience working in a camp, kitchen or restaurant environment is considered an asset Excellent people skills Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised.
