Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking a Site Operations Coordinator to join our Resolute Bay Operations team in Resolute Bay, NU. The Site Operations Coordinator is a key operational support position that enables effective site management through the coordination of information, people, logistics, and departmental activities. By acting as the central link between leadership and frontline operations, the role ensures efficient communication, operational consistency, and successful execution of site priorities while supporting a high standard of service delivery across the organization. This position is based on a 4 week on, 4 week off work rotation with travel and accommodations included. Where We Work and Live: ATCO Frontec has been operating in Resolute Bay since 1970 and have a long history of providing services in the North. The ATCO Frontec team in Resolute Bay provides logistics services for various Northern Government and private sector initiatives, including support and maintenance for the Polar Continental Shelf Program, the Resolute Bay Weather Observation, and the operation, maintenance and distribution of fuel for the hamlet and the Resolute Bay airport. The project team also provides logistics and operational support to initiatives in surrounding communities including Eureka and Grise Fiord. With a wide range of resources and experience, the Resolute Bay team can handle any operation in one of the most hostile climates in Canada. Responsibilities: Coordinate daily site operations and support operational continuity across departments. For example, flights (charter and scheduled), freight, janitorial services, hotel and catering services. Monitor, track, and communicate operational updates, priorities, and action items. Support management in the execution and follow-up of operational initiatives. Maintain operational awareness and communicate critical information to relevant stakeholders. Prepare correspondence, reports, summaries, meeting notes, and business documentation. Maintain operational records, schedules, tracking tools, and administrative systems. Support leadership with information gathering, reporting, and workflow coordination. Assist with the development and maintenance of operational procedures and documentation. Coordinate employee onboarding activities and administrative requirements. Track personnel movements, travel schedules, and rotational staffing requirements. Support workforce logistics including accommodations, travel administration, and employee information management. Maintain awareness of staffing changes, employee updates, and site requirements. Coordinate travel arrangements, confirmations, and employee movement schedules. Liaise with internal departments and external service providers regarding logistics requirements. Monitor and maintain travel records and supporting documentation. Manage daily Post Office operations, including mail receipt, distribution, tracking, and documentation. Maintain records and tracking systems related to postal and courier services. Support site administrative functions and general office operations. Assist with expense tracking, purchasing coordination, invoice processing, and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate operational and administrative records. Provide professional service to guests, employees, contractors, clients, and community stakeholders. Coordinate service requests and operational responses across departments. Support community engagement activities, site events, and operational initiatives. Promote a positive client and employee experience through effective communication and service delivery. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or equivalent Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in operations coordination, administration, logistics coordination, workforce support, office management, or business operations. Experience coordinating onboarding and workforce administration activities. Experience with procurement, purchasing, travel administration, and records management. Understanding of northern and remote operational environments. Experience developing reports, tracking systems, and operational documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
