Material Handler( Forklift Operator)

As a Material Handler (Forklift Operator), you will be responsible for assisting with Material Handling activities within our Grimsby Manufacturing facility, where we design and build modular buildings. This is a full time, permanent, role. Job Responsibilities: * Accountable for the organization of assigned areas and materials. * Operate Forklift and to unload incoming shipments from transport trailers. * Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bill of lading. * Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations. * Complete inventory consumption on all inventory transactions relocations. * Assist with garbage and recycling removal process. * Support the Production team with line moves as required. * Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: * Certified Forklift Operator with at least 3-5 years of experience in operating a forklift and material handling experience. * Ability to work scheduled shift from 6:30 am to 3 pm EST, Monday to Friday. * A demonstrated commitment to safety, it is your top priority. * Construction industry experience would be considered an asset. * Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. * Knowledge and experience with material receiving processes and cycle counts. * Comfortable using ERP and any other relevant software * Strong coaching and leadership skills preferred. * Ability to work in a high paced environment and deliver results on time and in a safe manner.
