Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking Red Seal Journeyman Oil Burner Mechanic, Plumber & Gasfitter B to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Edmonton, AB. Journeyman Oil Burner Mechanic, Plumber/Gasfitter is responsible for maintenance, modifications, and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems throughout our service and construction projects. The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required, and must be willing to travel throughout Alberta and Northern Communities in Canada. Tools, uniforms, PPE are provided. Responsibilities: * Conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies. * Running drain lines, plumbing lines, and Gas lines as well as installation of all plumbing related equipment. * Installation of Boilers, hydronic systems, hot-water tanks and furnaces. * Be the lead on multiple commercial construction and service projects. * Contribute input for planned and scheduled work, and assist with completing the committed schedule * Aid in scoping, estimating, planning, and executing new work or projects * Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded * Guarantee all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes. Qualifications: * Red Seal Journeyman Oil Burner Mechanic and/or Plumber/Gasfitter B with a minimum of 5 years’ experience is required * Must be willing to travel throughout Alberta and Northern Communities in Canada * Extensive commercial experience with boilers, Hydronic systems and commercial service * Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required * Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test, Fit to Work test, and an extensive background check * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Able to read drawings and blueprints * Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
