Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Quality Manager to join our team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Quality Manager will support our projects at AtkinsRéalis Canada. The incumbent will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 registered Quality Management System (QMS) for our Canadian offices. Your role Providing quality management leadership and support on Bids and Projects. Implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System for regional offices and projects including development and implementation of quality orientation, training programs and Correction programs and when applicable, Corrective Action in respect to Nonconformities including monitoring of implementation of continuous improvement programs and client satisfaction. Role of Project Quality Manager on projects and supporting/mentoring projects in quality requirements. Preparation of Audit Programs and scheduling, conducting, managing and participating in Internal and External Quality Audits (ISO/client). Development and presentation of data at the regular management review meetings with top management, including taking necessary actions to ensure effective operation and continuous improvement of the QMS. Managing the initiated non-conformances and corrective actions and working with all project team to resolve. Participate in the project team meetings and provide quality support. Supporting the Company Permit to Practice for EGBC, providing training and auditing projects for compliance with Permit to Practice requirements. About you University Degree (civil, mechanical, electrical engineering preferred) P.Eng. is a requirement for the position. A minimum of ten (10) years quality management experience in engineering design, construction of Power and Renewables, Rail Transit Systems and/or Infrastructure projects. Trained Quality Auditor (ISO 9001 lead auditor training preferred) including excellent working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard and familiarity with various industry codes, standards and regulations governing quality management. Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, Access) and Proficiency with Autodesk Forma is an asset. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a demanding multidisciplinary environment are essential for this position. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
