The ideal candidate for our Rater/Customs Coordinator role should also possess excellent customer services skills. Duties include the following Review invoices, manifests and other supporting documents for conformity to customs and corporate regulations Data Entry of commercial invoices into Customs Operating system Obtains customs paperwork by calling client when required Verifies documentation for rating compliance Prepares and submits release packages to Canada Border Services Agency Provides customer service as required Provides accurate information and assistance to customers requiring information Processes entries to meet Company and Canada Border Services Agency compliance standards Employment Type & Hours Full time position with work hours between 900am and 500pm Monday through Friday. Post secondary education preferred and 2+ years of job-related experience are required. Experience with MS Office database, Excel and Word required. Experience with Candata is beneficial. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Familiar with Transportation documentation and manifesting requirements (all modes). Basic knowledge of customs clearance process (all modes). Knowledge of HS coding. Accurate data entry skills with typing skills 60 w.p.m.

Requirements
