Job Summary Reporting to the Controller, the Finance Intern will support the internal and external financial reporting process by completing tasks and projects which support the Finance function and provide an opportunity to learn about the business and provide insights and process improvements. This is a full-time internship role for the term of : May 2027 - April 2028 Responsibilities Assist the accounting team in identifying and implementing process improvements Assist in the month-end process Perform financial statement analysis Assist in ad hoc accounting policy work and strategic projects Assist in the preparation of information required to communicate key messages to leadership Create flow charts and spreadsheets in support of various projects Ongoing tracking and reporting of financial metrics Assist in the preparation and design of PowerBI reports and/or bots relevant to the business and strategy Qualifications & Education Must be enrolled in a relevant college or university program, returning to school after co-op completion Exposure and knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS an asset Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced analysis skills in Microsoft Excel Proficiency with PowerBI/Python as it applies to financial processes is an asset Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical personnel Atura Power strives to embody the values of respect, collaboration, and diversity, and has a strong commitment to employment equity. Candidates must be enrolled in a relevant college or university program and returning to school after the internship. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, while experience with PowerBI, Python, and accounting standards like US GAAP or IFRS is considered an asset.
