Job Summary Reporting directly to the Account Executive Manager, the Account Executive/Showroom Attendant is responsible for building and fostering business partnerships with SanMar Canada's customers. This role involves assisting customers via phone, email, and in-person while delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include driving sales and profits, processing orders, resolving issues, following up, responding promptly to requests, and anticipating customer needs. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or 1 year experience in inside/outside sales Exceptional communication skills and telephone manners Must be able to multitask and possess strong organizational skills Ability to explain processes and implement changes and improvements Working knowledge of computerized inventory systems (PICK system knowledge preferred) Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed work quality and work quantity standards Working Conditions 40 hours per week; occasional overtime required Monday - Friday, In office from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a team environment Occasional travel to weekend tradeshows, both in and out of town Ability to perform continuous lifting up to 50lbs with some repetition Responsibilities Meet or exceed minimum number of orders, queue time and calls per day Maximum 1% of mistakes of the total number of orders taken per month Return all messages within 30 minutes of receipt Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge, assisting customers in the showroom with finding the right products to meet their needs. Actively support goals for objectives established for assisting customers with sample selection Ensure that accuracy levels are maintained in the tracking of customer samples Establish and grow business relationships with Owners, Buyers, Inside and Outside Reps and continue to develop new business relationships with our customers Demonstrate ability to teach and sell our marketing tools based on knowledge gained regarding customers marketing desires Perform weekly check on outstanding samples Assist with online CHAT function answering customer inquiries such as (but are not limited to), product inquiries, product orders, invoices, returns, marketing tools Attend meetings and seminars to maintain and expand industry knowledge Obtain a complete understanding of account businesses including: What type of business is the account ie. Promotional, embroider, etc. Who does what for the company Who they sell to/target market What they buy Their needs and expectations Other competitors they buy from Showroom Maintenance: steam cleaning and tagging new products before displaying in the showroom perform daily checks to ensure cleanliness and organization of products removing discontinued items Managing the preparation, organization and distribution of showroom samples for the sales team and other locations Assist in other areas of the Account Executive department and additional duties as required by management Adhere to current and future company policies and standards to ensure a safe and agreeable working environment Working Relationships & Communications Work in cooperation and communicate effectively with all levels of the staff Work effectively and efficiently with little supervision Openly communicate any successes, concerns, or problems related to the job Be prepared to respond to, and interact on a face-to-face basis, with outside customers as required Adhere to current and future company policies and standards to ensure a safe and agreeable working environmen Join an AMAZING team, and enjoy SanMar Canada's perks!
