We are looking for a confident, outgoing, personable Service Advisor who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a natural ability to build relationships. As a **Service Advisor**, you will be the face of **Auto Electric Service** and the key link between our customers and technicians. You will coordinate the repair process, communicate recommendations clearly, and ensure customers receive a professional and positive experience from start to finish. **The Role** - Greet customers and create a positive first impression. - Listen to customer concerns and perform initial walk-around inspections. - Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and service recommendations. - Explain repairs, maintenance needs, costs, and timelines clearly. - Communicate with customers throughout the repair process. - Obtain approval before additional work is completed. - Coordinate closely with technicians to maintain shop flow and productivity. - Monitor work in progress and help minimize comebacks. - Follow up after service to ensure customer satisfaction. - Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business. - Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records. - Assist with parts ordering, warranty documentation, and customer transportation when required. - Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace. - Follow all shop, safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures. ## Requirements **What We're Looking For:** - Outgoing, confident, energetic personality. - Excellent communication and people skills. - Previous customer-facing experience; automotive experience is preferred. - 1–2 years of automotive service experience preferred. - Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair. - Comfortable discussing pricing and repair recommendations. - Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment. - Professional appearance and positive attitude. - Strong computer skills; Protractor experience is an asset. - Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. **The right personality matters.** We can teach the technical details to someone who is willing to learn.
