As a Service Advisor, you will be the face of Auto Electric Service and the key link between our customers and technicians. You will coordinate the repair process, communicate recommendations clearly, and ensure customers receive a professional and positive experience from start to finish. The Role Greet customers and create a positive first impression Listen to customer concerns and perform initial walk-around inspections Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and service recommendations Explain repairs, maintenance needs, costs, and timelines clearly Communicate with customers throughout the repair process Obtain approval before additional work is completed Coordinate closely with technicians to maintain shop flow and productivity Monitor work in progress and help minimize comebacks Follow up after service to ensure customer satisfaction Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records Assist with parts ordering, warranty documentation, and customer transportation when required Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace Follow all shop, safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures Requirements What We're Looking For: Outgoing, confident, energetic personality Excellent communication and people skills. Previous customer-facing experience; automotive experience is preferred 1-2 years of automotive service experience preferred Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair. Comfortable discussing pricing and repair recommendations Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong computer skills; Protractor experience is an asset. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent Must be legally eligible to work in Canada The right personality matters.
