Role Description The Acquisition Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Oakville, ON, responsible for sourcing and securing high-quality vehicles that align with dealership standards and customer demand. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential inventory through auctions, private sellers, and wholesalers, conducting market research to assess pricing and demand trends, and evaluating vehicles for condition, value, and resale potential. This role also involves negotiating purchase terms, coordinating logistics for vehicle acquisition, and maintaining accurate records of acquisitions and related documentation. The Acquisition Specialist collaborates closely with sales and management teams to ensure inventory aligns with customer needs and supports overall business objectives. Qualifications Omvic License Candidates should possess strong Acquisitions experience with a focus on vehicle sourcing and negotiation. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to evaluate pricing, demand, and inventory opportunities. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Candidates should possess Program Management or process management skills to coordinate acquisition activities and timelines. Relevant experience in automotive sales, purchasing, or dealership operations is beneficial. Knowledge of vehicle valuation, auction platforms, and used car market trends is an asset. Ability to work on-site in Oakville, ON, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage but not required.

The Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing and securing high-quality vehicles through auctions, private sellers, and wholesalers. They evaluate vehicle condition and value while negotiating purchase terms to align inventory with customer demand.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Omvic License and have strong experience in vehicle sourcing and negotiation. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this on-site role.
