Conduct testing on car tire pressure and add air as needed. Perform final checks on all vehicles before sending it to the customer. Ensure to follow work order procedures, along with the other company policies and procedures. Clean a vehicle's interior, replacing wiper blades, installing car batteries and performing tire rotations. Initiate visual inspections of the inside and outside of the vehicle once all tasks are completed to ensure that the product meets customer and company standards. Prioritize maintaining the cleanliness of the shop area at all times. Clean bay and bench at the end of each shift. Dispose of garbage, recycling, etc., as required. Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times. Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures. Other duties as required by management. What You Need To Succeed High School Diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 1 year work experience in an automotive dealership is required. Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record. Mechanical aptitude and interest. Strong attention to detail will be required. Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Capable of working in a collaborative environment while providing a positive attitude. Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed. Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. Proven knowledge and experience with automotive mechanical operations. Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule. Ability to lift and move heavy items (50-75 lbs). Job Type: Full Time - Permanent Compensation (expected hourly wage): $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
