This opportunity offers clinical independence, a competitive compensation split and the infrastructure to support your existing patients while expanding into new referral and specialty-recovery pathways. The Opportunity You will have the flexibility to maintain your preferred clinical focus while providing physiotherapy across musculoskeletal, post-surgical, concussion, vestibular and functional-recovery populations. Your practice may include: Supporting patients before and after surgery through mobility planning, strength rebuilding, pain management and return-to-life goals Helping patients recover following illness, injury, ICU admission or periods of deconditioning Assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and functional limitations Providing concussion or vestibular rehabilitation within your training and scope Developing individualized treatment plans and measurable recovery goals Participating in Avalon’s developing brain-injury, surgical-recovery and ICU-recovery pathways Physiotherapists with an existing caseload are welcome to transition their practice to Avalon while retaining clinical autonomy and established patient relationships. Qualifications Registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC Professional liability insurance Established physiotherapy experience and strong clinical reasoning Clear communication and documentation skills Commitment to evidence-informed, patient-centred care Interest in multidisciplinary collaboration Experience in musculoskeletal care, post-surgical rehabilitation, concussion, vestibular rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation or complex recovery is an asset.
