Aven Therapy is a private practice based at Workshop Studios in Inglewood. We provide trauma-informed, neuroaffirming occupational therapy across psychosocial rehabilitation, chronic pain, return to work, and women's health, working with insurers, medico-legal referral sources, and private pay clients. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the practice. About the role You would carry a mixed caseload spanning: Cognitive and functional capacity evaluations Mental health rehabilitation and psychosocial support Chronic pain management Return to work planning and graduated RTW support Post concussion care Private pay clients across a range of presentations This is clinically varied work. You will be writing to insurers and referral sources regularly, so strong clinical reasoning and clear, defensible documentation matter as much as your hands-on skill. What we are looking for Registered and in good standing with ACOT, or eligible for registration Minimum five years of clinical experience Confident completing cognitive and functional capacity evaluations independently Experience with mental health and chronic pain populations Familiarity with insurer-funded RTW processes Comfortable working with private pay clients and the different pace and expectations that come with them Able to work autonomously while contributing to a small collaborative team What we offer A practice grounded in trauma-informed, somatic, and neuroaffirming approaches Studio-based space at Workshop Studios with administrative support Marketing support to help you build and grow your caseload, so you can focus on clinical work rather than finding clients Established referral relationships and partnerships, including collaboration with exercise physiology Flexibility in how you structure your caseload Genuine clinical autonomy without the volume pressure of larger contract models To apply Send your CV and a short note about the work you find most meaningful to info@aventherapy.com.

Requirements

Applicants must have at least five years of clinical experience and be registered in good standing with ACOT or eligible for registration. They should independently conduct cognitive and functional capacity evaluations, have experience with mental health and chronic pain populations, understand insurer-funded return-to-work processes, and be comfortable working autonomously and with private-pay clients.
