Incentive Programs: Quarterly performance-based rewards for both individual and company achievements. ** This is a seasonal position with the anticipated end date being May 2027** Position Summary The Class 1 (AZ) Flatbed Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, loading, and unloading of construction equipment and tanks to customer sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This position requires experience operating a flatbed trailer and a Moffett forklift mounted on the trailer for loading and unloading caged 420 tanks and related equipment. The driver will ensure all deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. Key Responsibilities Delivery & Operations Operate a Class 1 (AZ) flatbed truck and trailer to transport caged 420 tanks and construction-related equipment. Safely operate a Moffett forklift mounted on the trailer to load and unload tanks and equipment at customer locations. Load equipment at the Brechin yard and complete deliveries to construction sites throughout the GTA. Secure loads in accordance with company procedures and transportation regulations. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report any deficiencies. Maintain communication with Dispatch regarding routes, delivery schedules, and site requirements. Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate electronic logs and daily trip records. Complete delivery documentation and customer paperwork as required. Report incidents, hazards, equipment damage, or mechanical concerns promptly. Safety & Compliance Comply with all provincial and federal transportation regulations. Follow company safety policies and safe work procedures. Utilize proper load securement techniques and required PPE. Participate in ongoing safety training and maintain required certifications. Qualifications Valid Class 1 (AZ) Driver's License. Clean driver abstract and CVOR within company standards. Previous flatbed experience preferred. Experience operating a Moffett forklift is considered a strong asset. Strong understanding of load securement and construction site safety requirements. Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service. Working Conditions Field-based role involving regular travel throughout Ontario, primarily servicing construction sites in the GTA. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Regular lifting, securing loads, and operating loading/unloading equipment. Seasonal position with work typically running from October through early January delivering tanks. Opportunity to transition into bulk truck operations during the winter months (January through April/May).
