Technician to support Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations. role is responsible for performing basic troubleshooting, equipment testing, maintenance activities, and issue reporting while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient and reliable processes, helping to minimize downtime, improve productivity, and uphold high standards of quality in a dynamic, team-oriented manufacturing environment. contributing to the overall success of the business by ensuring that equipment and processes are running optimally. Location Cambridge, Ontario Job Type: Contractor Working Arrangement: Onsite Responsibilities Operate and calibrate test systems according to specifications and safety guidelines. Testing verification and reporting of devices under test. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to devices under test, including diagnosing minor problems, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support the implementation of test setups, upgrades and modifications. Understanding of test procedures. Document all test activities in appropriate software, including updating equipment records and preparing reports Basic Qualifications Diploma in a relevant field in systems, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 0 to 2 years of experience in an electronic testing role. Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment Strong computer skills (Office 365) Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) Follow procedures (SOP's Maps, Drawings, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment Understanding of RF Theory. Must have the ability to lift up to 35lbs.
