We are currently seeking a qualified Buyer who independently manages a portfolio of suppliers and purchase orders while ensuring supply continuity, contract compliance, and operational execution. The role requires proactive supplier management, effective communication, and strong problem-solving skills to support procurement activities, mitigate supply risks, resolve delivery issues, and maintain supplier performance. The Buyer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to ensure material availability, support production schedules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. Location St-Laurent, Quebec Job Type: Full-Time Working Arrangement: Hybrid Responsibilities Execute and manage purchase orders from requisition through delivery. Monitor supplier performance and delivery commitments. Manage shortages, past dues, and recovery plans. Support new product introductions and program requirements. Coordinate with planning, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams. Escalate supplier delivery and quality issues. Ensure compliance with sourcing strategies and negotiated agreements. Support RFQ and sourcing activities. Basic Qualifications DEC / Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Minimum 1-3 years of procurement, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or logistics experience. Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline Procurement or Supply Chain certifications (SCMP, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMAC, or equivalent) are considered an asset.
