We are expanding our growing laboratory and are looking for motivated Medical Safety Engineers and Electrical Safety Engineers to join our team. Whether you have previous experience within the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry or you are a recent engineering graduate looking to begin your career, we would love to hear from you. Our laboratory is a close-knit team of around 30 specialists delivering safety testing services for a wide range of electrical and medical products. This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on technical training, develop expertise in international safety standards, and work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment. The Role As a Safety Engineer, you will perform testing and evaluation of electrical and medical devices to ensure compliance with international product safety standards. Working closely with senior engineers and technical specialists, you will gain practical experience throughout the certification process while developing into a subject matter expert. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical safety testing on a variety of commercial, industrial and medical products. Evaluate products against international safety standards and certification requirements. Prepare technical documentation and detailed engineering test reports. Identify non-conformities and work with customers to resolve compliance issues. Assist with laboratory testing, equipment setup and troubleshooting. Work collaboratively with experienced engineers to deliver projects on time and to a high technical standard. Maintain accurate project documentation while ensuring laboratory quality procedures are followed. What We're Looking For We welcome applications from candidates with a range of experience levels, including: Engineers currently working within the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry. Engineers from product manufacturers with relevant electrical safety or compliance experience. Recent engineering graduates looking to build a career in product safety testing. We're particularly interested in candidates who have: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline. Knowledge of electrical product safety principles. Experience with, or an understanding of, safety standards such as: IEC/UL/CSA 62368 IEC/UL/CSA 61010 IEC/UL/CSA 60601 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A desire to learn and develop within a technical laboratory environment. Why Join Us?
