In this role, you will be responsible for the final cleaning, preparation, and presentation of vehicles following body, paint, and structural repairs. This role ensures every repaired vehicle is returned to the customer in pre-accident or better condition, meeting strict cleanliness and quality standards required by the collision industry. The ideal candidate is detailfocused, efficient, and understands the importance of vehicle presentation in customer satisfaction and insurance-driven repair cycles. What You’ll Do Perform final cleaning on vehicles after body and paint repairs, ensuring a flawless finish before delivery Vacuum and clean interior areas affected by repair work Wipe down interior panels, glass and surfaces to remove body shop contaminants Conduct final walk-around inspections to identify any imperfections before vehicle delivery Assist with vehicle masking, prepping, or protecting interiors and exteriors prior to repairs (if required) Move vehicles between departments, stalls, and parking areas Maintain cleanliness of detailing area, tools, towels, and equipment Assist workshop lead in general cleanliness, organization and flow of production Follow all safety protocols related to chemicals, coatings, and shop equipment. What You’ll Bring Experience in automotive detailing is preferred, especially in a collision repair environment. Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, compounds, waxes, and polishing tools Ability to identify defects in paint and bodywork Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to stand, bend, or lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. Strong work ethic and the ability to work in fast-paced environments Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Good communication with production and management teams Time management and ability to meet delivery deadlines What You’ll Get The salary band for this position ranges from $40,000 to $55,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
