Job summary

Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Application Development Lead Analyst (DevOps) Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Mississauga, ON Summary: The role involves establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. This is a senior-level position focused on leading applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements. Resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes. Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the company's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets. Plan, schedule, and manage the end-to-end release process for all software applications. Oversee the management and maintenance of all non-production environments. Assist in managing and improving the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Requirements: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role. Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development. Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with release management and environment management. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools. This role is for an existing vacancy.
