Job summary
Summary: Duration: 12 months contract Location: Montreal, QC Work Mode: Hybrid (3x/week onsite) Responsibilities: Develop production-grade data processing pipelines and AI/ML services using Python. Implement data manipulation and machine learning models using pandas and scikit-learn libraries. Design and deploy generative AI solutions using LLMs and multimodal models to solve business problems. Build AI service endpoints and asynchronous processing systems using the FastAPI framework. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in Python and database development. Minimum 2 years of hands-on AI project experience. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with anomaly detection algorithms and techniques. Good knowledge of database concepts, SQL queries, and stored procedures. Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) and working knowledge of Unix. Experience with version control tools, preferably Git. Ability to write unit tests, e.g., using pytest. Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects. Preferred Skills: Experience working in Agile Squads. Finance data domain knowledge. Understanding of model performance monitoring, debugging, and logging systems within AI applications. Experience with containerization and deployment of ML services in enterprise environments. This role is for an existing vacancy.
