Global Financial Firm located in Toronto, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced UX/UI Engineer Pay Rate Range: $ 74.00 - $ 78.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Toronto, ON Responsibilities Partner with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements. Lead designs and implementation of robust and testable code in support of the requirements. Resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes. Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Develop non-functional features to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance. Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Requirements Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Application Development. Experience with system analysis and programming of software applications, focusing on performance and testability. Ability to be proactive and adjust priorities quickly. Experience working in a large collaborative environment and challenging current practices. Demonstrated leadership skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with Fixed Income products is a plus. Proficiency in HTML5/JavaScript (React, Node.js) and knowledge of standard web development concepts. Experience with C# and Dot.Net Framework is nice to have. Education Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. This role is for an existing vacancy.
