Job summary

The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Planner, Mill Maintenance, Nunavut Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Deputy Mill Manager, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada. Responsibilities • Plan and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and support operational goals;• Manage maintenance activities using SAP and other platforms, applying reliability-centered principles to meet KPIs and cost targets;• Collaborate with stakeholders to review work requests, develop job plans and instructions, and maintain accurate technical documentation;• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure optimal inventory levels of spare parts, materials, and consumables;• Lead plant shutdown planning and respond to unplanned outages with effective troubleshooting and support for mill systems and associated equipment; and• Track maintenance metrics, lead meetings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Desired Competencies and Requirements • Five (5) years’ experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance planning, in gold or metals processing plants, experience working in remote Arctic conditions is preferred;• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Processing, Project Management, or a trade certificate in a related field is required; and• Proficiency in SAP CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite - other CMMS experience will be considered. Compensation and Benefits For informational purposes, the annual salary for this role is $162,000.00 B2Gold Nunavut offers a competitive compensation package, including salary commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills, plus a group benefits package for employees and their dependents.
