Job details

This position is responsible for distributing picked kits to the production floor, investigating and reporting missing materials, processing return transactions, and replenishing shop-floor inventory to support production requirements. Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, the role ensures materials are available in the right place, at the right time, while maintaining inventory accuracy and efficient material flow. The successful candidate will be adaptable to changing systems and processes, committed to continuous improvement, and understand the impact accurate inventory and material management have on production performance. This is an hourly paid position. Compensation will be commensurate based on education and/or experience. RESPONSIBILITES What You'll Be Doing: * Ensure materials are available where and when production needs them. * Manage inventory and Kanban replenishment to prevent stockouts and maintain accuracy. * Deliver and replenish materials to production work centres on schedule. * Prepare, verify, and distribute production kits accurately and on time. * Maintain accurate inventory transactions including transfers, returns, and system updates. * Identify and resolve material-flow issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. * Promote safe, lean, and efficient operations through inventory control, workplace organization, and safe material handling. QUALIFICATIONS What You'll Need For Success: * High school diploma or GED with a valid driver’s license. * Forklift and material-handling equipment experience. * Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook. * Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control. * Ability to read schedules, work instructions, and material requirements. * Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and work in warehouse and yard environments. * Understanding of material flow and its impact on production efficiency. * Experience in materials handling, manufacturing, inventory management, or lean/Kanban environments. #LI-LDL1 Badger Infrastructure Solutions is the industry leader in non­-destructive hydro-excavation (hydrovac) services. Requirements
