POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Logistics Department, Truck Drivers are responsible for the pick-up of meat by-products and waste on a variety of routes and shifts. You will be responsible for loading the material on to the truck. This position is for a relief driver who is flexible and available for a variety of shifts. Some heavy lifting will be required. We are looking for drivers with a passion for driving and a commitment to the environment to join our growing team! POSITION TASKS AND RESPONSIBIITIES: * Responsible for the pick-up of raw ingredients on a variety of routes and shifts * Territory-300 KM radius around the Dundas plant * Familiarity within the Province of Ontario * Team oriented and willing to assist within all routes * Customer Service Oriented * Tasks will include some physical demands such as repetitive pulling, pushing, lifting etc. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Knowledge of hydraulic equipment is an asset * Valid AZ License with a minimum of two years truck driving experience * Clean drivers/CVOR and abstract * Flexible to work overtime and a variety of shifts as required WE OFFER: * AZ Driver rate: $34.04 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours/week * DZ Driver rate: $33.10 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours/week * 50 to 60 hours per week with optional overtime available on weekends * Company paid Life Insurance, Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Health and Dental Benefit Plan * Training is provided * Defined Contribution Pension Plan * Uniforms provided * Safety shoe/boot program * Educational Assistance Programs, Scholarship Programs, Apprenticeship Programs We’re one of the world’s leading practitioners of circularity, transforming materials from the animal agriculture and food industries into valuable ingredients.
