Production Lead Hand

Job Brief Our company is looking for a motivated and experienced Production Lead Hand to support our production team in achieving operational goals. Responsibilities * Oversee all production retail/bulk lines * Check labels * Check quality of product * Check product dates * Set up production lines * Oversee change-over to ensure the flow of production lines * Communicate work orders from supervisors to other staff * Report any equipment issues to the supervisor immediately * Follow all company policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned * Always keep work area clean and tidy * Always wear proper PPE, as required * Always work safely to Occupational Health & Safety Act standards * Always work safely and in compliance to food safety, GMP, and HACCP rules Job Terms * Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need * Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer * Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6 * Shift Requirement: Must be flexible for morning or afternoon shifts, Sundays to Fridays * Compensation: $19-$22 per hour * Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time Qualifications * Previous related experience * Knowledge in the food service industry, preferably the produce sector Freshline provides employment accommodation during the recruitment process.
