AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN Job Description Bannister Cadillac Kelowna, a division of the Bannister Automotive Group, is hiring a full-time, permanent Automotive Service Technician to join our service team in Kelowna, BC. This is a technical, diagnostic, and repair-focused role in a busy dealership service department, supported by manufacturer training, modern diagnostic equipment, and an experienced shop team. POSITION DETAILS * Operating name: Bannister Cadillac Kelowna (a division of the Bannister Automotive Group) * Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time — 40 hours per week * Language of work: English * Work location: 2727 Hwy 97 North, Kelowna, BC, V1X 4J8 * Business address: 3302 Appaloosa Rd, Kelowna, BC, V1V 2W5 DUTIES (NOC 72410) * Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor * Inspect and test mechanical units, automotive systems, and components to locate faults and malfunctions * Inspect the motor in operation and road test motor vehicles * Diagnose faults and malfunctions, and confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit * Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems * Repair or replace mechanical units or components * Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's specifications * Perform scheduled maintenance service * Complete reports to record problems and work performed WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Education: Trades certificate or diploma in automotive service technology.
