Barker Black Ltd

Barker Black is a specialist recruitment firm that does one thing exceptionally well. We place recruiters, staffing professionals and directors into agencies operating in energy, data centres, life sciences and healthcare. Nothing else. That singular focus, built over more than twenty years, is what sets us apart. We work with staffing agencies globally, predominantly across the UK, US and Canada, but increasingly supporting clients in Europe and Australia too. Whether you are a founder looking for your next senior biller, a growing agency that needs a team leader to build out a new desk, or a board searching for a director to lead the next phase of growth, we know where to find them. More importantly, we know how to identify the ones who will actually deliver. Our clients operate in markets that are evolving fast. The energy transition, the global data centre construction boom, and the expansion of life sciences and healthcare staffing have created enormous demand for experienced recruiters. The agencies winning in these sectors are the ones making smart hires now, not waiting until the market forces their hand. We also offer a confidential M&A introduction service for recruitment agency owners. Whether you are considering a sale, looking to acquire, or simply want to understand what your business might be worth, we connect buyers and sellers with discretion and deep sector knowledge. Barker Black was founded on a simple principle. If you only work in one corner of the market, you get to know every corner of it. We know the agencies, we know the people, and we know what good looks like. That is not a tagline. It is twenty years of proof.
