The Basics Location: Northgate, SK Compensation: $24.00/hr and up Days/Hours: There are multiple shifts in this dept. Some Team Members work four 10 hour shifts, some work five 8 hour shifts. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment such as a loader, forklift, railcar moving equipment, and skid steer to load and unload products. The Terminal Operator ensures compliance with safety regulations and company procedures while working closely within teams to coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and resolve any operational challenges. Responsibilities Unload various materials consisting of a variety of bulk liquid and dry products daily Understand and follow operating procedures and policies Operate railcar loading systems and equipment Operate railcar movers to safely and effectively move tank and grain cars in the rail yard Cross-train on all operations at the facility Communicate effectively and ask questions Complete necessary documentation Actively participate in safety training as it applies to work tasks Adhere to company policies and procedures and enforce them with other employees, contractors, and visitors Assist with general duties within the facility (general maintenance, yard upkeep) Requirements To Be Successful In This Position High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English Available to work overtime and weekends Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications) Able to pass a criminal background check Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: This job can be physically strenuous You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces You will work at heights You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more You will work outside in inclement weather You will work with hazardous materials This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders You will be required to wear PPE #IND1 Additional Information A complete job description is available upon request Bartlett is fully committed to abiding by all equal opportunity employment standards.
