Requirements RN (Registered Nurse) License Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing 1-year registered nurse ER experience BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association ACLS certification with the American Heart Association PALS certification with the American Heart Association The Registered Nurse – Responsibilities And Skills Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments. Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient Professional accountability and development Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled

What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates must hold an RN license and a degree in nursing, with at least one year of ER experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
