Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic procedures in accordance with established clinical and safety standards. This role is responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, including radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room operations, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, housekeeping support, patient transportation, and other related responsibilities necessary to ensure efficient and effective departmental workflow. Education: Minimum Qualifications: Essential: Education Information in Comments Essential: Education equivalent experience: Required Technical - Ultrasound; Or - Associates - Ultrasound Credentials: Essential: Basic Life Support Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer Required Credential equivalent experience: BLS (Basic Life Support); Required RDMS (Sonography) Required RDMS (Sonography) Experience: Nonessential: Ultrasound Facility: BayCare Health System, Dxct Bb Ultrasound-SJH DXCT Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens Status: PRN, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 7am-630pm Shift: Shift 1 Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies Weekend Work: None On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely? Requirements
Requires an Associate degree in Ultrasound or equivalent experience. Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credentials.
