Summary: Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures.. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary. Education: Minimum Qualifications: Essential: Education Information in Comments Essential: Education equivalent experience: Required Technical - Ultrasound; Or - Associates - Ultrasound Credentials: Essential: Basic Life Support Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer ARRT Radiography Required Credential equivalent experience: BLS (Basic Life Support); Required RDMS (Sonography) - within 1 year; Required AART (Radiologic Technologists) Required AART (Radiologic Technologists) Experience: Nonessential: Hospital Related Ultrasound Facility: BayCare Health System, FSED Imaging-SJH Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens Status: Pool, Exempt: No Shift Hours: varies Shift: Shift 1 Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes How often will this team member be working remotely? What you’ll do

Perform diagnostic sonographic procedures and support imaging-related patient care. Manage RIS data and file-room tasks, assist physicians, handle clerical and housekeeping duties, and transport patients as needed.

Requirements

Requires ultrasound education or equivalent experience, with an ultrasound technical qualification or an associate-level ultrasound qualification. Basic Life Support and ARRT radiography credentials are required, and RDMS certification must be obtained within one year; hospital-related ultrasound experience is listed as nonessential.
