Support the parent seed team with project activities and seasonal priorities, including field monitoring, rouging, drip irrigation, equipment operation, sampling, and pollination. Drive to field locations across British Columbia, assist seed technicians with canola parent seed production, and participate in community engagement and team-building activities.

Support field-testing agronomists and the crop research program by planting, maintaining plots, collecting data, and harvesting. Work with field research scientists and associates, and contribute to site health, safety, and compliance programs.

Assist seed technicians with hybrid canola seed production, including identifying weeds and diseases, supporting crop protection application timing, rouging, and collecting data. Work independently or with the team on project activities and seasonal priorities, and participate in community engagement and team-building events.
