*Shingler ? Bayland Roof Services* 1258 Main St. W., North Bay, ON P1B 2W6 *About Us* We're a local roofing company in North Bay, and we're looking for another set of hands on our crew. If you know your way around a roof ? or you're willing to learn ? we'd like to talk to you. *What you'd be doing* Most days you'll be installing shingles: laying underlayment, fitting flashing, cutting and placing shingles, and tearing off old roofs when a job calls for it. You'll be working alongside the rest of the crew, so being someone who shows up, pulls their weight, and pays attention to the details matters more than anything on paper. *Duties* * Install shingles, underlayment, and flashing on residential roofs * Tear off and remove old roofing materials * Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately * Set up and follow fall protection and job site safety procedures * Load, unload, and organize materials on site * Keep the job site clean and safe throughout the day * Work efficiently as part of a crew to hit project timelines * Communicate clearly with the crew lead and, when needed, homeowners *Skills* * Comfortable working at heights and outside in changing weather * Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for clean shingle lines and tight flashing work * Basic knowledge of roofing tools and materials * Physically fit ? able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and stand/kneel for extended periods * Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded * Able to take direction and work well with a team *What we're looking for* * Shingle roofing experience preferred; entry-level candidates willing to learn are welcome * Working at Heights certification is an asset * Valid driver's license * Comfortable on ladders and roofs in all kinds of weather *What you'd get* Starting at $21/hour depending on experience, full-time work Monday through Friday (with extra hours in busy season), and a crew that'll teach you the ropes if you're new to this.
