Job Title: Software Engineer – Product Catalogue & Feed Syndication Domain: E-commerce / Retail Employment Type: Contract Location: Canada - Remote Position Summary We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop scalable Product Catalogue and Feed Syndication platforms for high-volume eCommerce environments. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development, messaging systems, distributed systems, and software architecture experience, with a focus on processing, transforming, and distributing large volumes of product data across multiple channels. Required Skills 5+ years of strong Java/J2EE development experience. Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies. Strong understanding of event-driven and distributed system architecture. Experience designing scalable, high-throughput applications. Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous processing. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Strong understanding of API design and integration patterns. Experience with Git and CI/CD practices. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
