Bayshore Medical Personnel is excited to announce a full-time contract opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Valcartier, QC! We're looking for dedicated professionals to make a meaningful impact in Military Health Services. **$1000 Signing Bonus** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful applicant will provide direct patient care under the direction of physicians, Registered Nurses, and/or other healthcare providers. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to: * COVID screening prior to patients entering the clinic; * assistance with vaccinations; * conducting patient history and physical assessments; * performing selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions; and * counseling patients on preventive health care. Qualifications The LPN shall possess, as a minimum, one (1) full-time equivalent year of experience within the last 3 years in nursing practice conducting patient assessments and providing direct nursing care for a broad range of diseases in the adult population in a primary care or ambulatory care setting. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS All LPNs must, as a minimum, have: 1. Graduated from a Practical Nursing Program approved by Council of the College of Nurses; 2. Current and valid license from the provincial or territorial professional college or association in the province of practice; and 3. Certificate of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) Level C. Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an approved Practical Nursing Program and hold a current, valid provincial nursing license. Additionally, they require at least one year of recent nursing experience and current certifications in First Aid, BLS, N95 mask fitting, and WHMIS.
