Provide trauma-informed nursing care to incarcerated clients with complex physical, mental health, substance use, and communicable disease needs, including assessments, triage, treatments, medication administration, monitoring, and referrals. Coordinate care and discharge planning with clients and the interprofessional team, provide health education, and maintain accurate clinical records and reports.

Conduct psychiatric and physical health assessments, evaluate clinical risk, and develop and implement integrated treatment plans for clients with mental health or substance use challenges who have come into contact with the law.
