CASUAL - ADMINISTRATIVE / CLERICAL POSITIONS The Langley School District is situated on the traditional unceded territories of the Matsqui, Kwantlen, Katzie, and Semiahmoo First Nations. We are an innovative, inspiring, and unified learning community committed to the Core Values: Integrity, Courage, Excellence, and Community. Our district mission to inspire all learners to reach their full potential and to create a positive legacy for the future is demonstrated both in and out the classroom. We offer a broad range of innovative programs and services to support the learning of our students and staff in 30 elementary, 5 middle, and 9 Secondary schools which are home to over 22,000 students. POSTING DETAILS Position Casual - Administrative and Clerical positions Start Date October 19, 2026 Compensation Differs by position Location Varied REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Grade 12 graduation including/supplemented by typing (60 wpm) and general office procedures 1-2 years of related experience (Bookkeeping/Accounting, Database Management) Excellent telephone, presentation, organization, and computer skills are essential Ability to work with constant interruptions and to meet deadlines Effective communication skills and ability to use tact in the routine exchange or provision of information Good knowledge of Business English, punctuation and spelling For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included with your application: Resume and cover letter Copies of any relevant certifications Proof of graduation from high school (completion of grade 12) Email addresses for a minimum of three references (ideally, supervisors from your most recent role) We have mandatory training dates October 19, 20 and 21, 2026. Applicants must be available for this training to be offered employment. PLEASE NOTE In accordance with the Criminal Record Review Act, successful applicants will be required to consent to a Criminal Record Search prior to employment.
