##### Job Details **_Position Summary:_ ** School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for **Casual Learning Support Workers** to support students in the Vanderhoof area, including Mapes. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours. The successful candidate will: * Work with school and district staff to support the individual needs of students * Assist in the delivery of regular or alternate education programs for individuals or groups * Advocate for students and participate in school-based teams as needed **_Qualifications:_ ** * Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate) * Completion of an **Education Assistant Certificate** program * Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children/youth with intellectual, behavioral, or multiple disabilities * Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record (driver’s abstract required) * WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures **Note:** Applicants without the required certification will be considered **Uncertified** and compensated at the corresponding rate.
