Job Responsibilities · Provide inquiry based, problem solving based and project based learning opportunities · Utilize academic programs including Reading Mastery, ReadWell, Corrective Reading, Nelson Literacy and Saxon Math · Prepare and deliver long term, monthly and daily lesson plan activities · Develop and oversee individual learning plans for each student as required · Ensure that students’ overall needs for achieving success are met · Collaborate with Education Assistants and Cultural Workers regularly and as required · Enforce the school discipline policy · Participate as a member of the school supervisory and extra-curricular teams · Provide written student evaluation reports and attend parent-teacher conferences · Ensure that accurate and complete student records are maintained · Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents Job Qualifications · Bachelor of Education · Member in good standing with the BC College of Teachers · 2 years’ teaching in a First Nations environment preferred · Satisfactory criminal records and vulnerable sector search If you are interested in this position you may submit your covering letter & resume by August 5, 2022 to:
