There is potential that this contract could be extended into the following school year. Experience in classroom teaching and supporting children with a variety of exceptional needs through the development and implementation of IEPs is expected along with the skills to work collaboratively with staff, parents and administration. Working closely with the other Learning Support teacher on staff, the successful candidate will oversee the placement, support, and supervision of the education assistants on staff. Knowledge and experience in the area of inclusive education recommended.
