**POSITION: Secondary Teacher** **ASSIGNMENT: ADST - Photography, Robotics, Yearbook, Video & Film, Engineering (Gr 10-12), Drafting 11/12 ** **FTE: 1.0** **LOCATION: Correlieu Secondary School** **EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2026 and continuing** **Basic Qualifications:** A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following: **Training Specialization:** * Secondary Education with a major in Technology * Secondary Education with a major in Fine Arts **Related Teaching Experience: **Recent successful experience as a Secondary School Teacher **A Reasonable Expectation: **based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff. **Additional Qualifications:** * Two or more courses at the 300 or 400 level in Technology Education * Two or more courses at the 300 or 400 level in Fine Arts **Other:** * Commitment to the School Growth Plan * Commitment to the School-based Team The annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $64,901 to $116,190 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
