The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is currently seeking one (1) Legal Co-op Student/Intern for the Winter 2027 (January to April 2027) work term to support the Legal Affairs team. The Legal Affairs Department provides in-house legal expertise and support to all departments within BCI. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING You will support BCI’s in-house lawyers in their corporate and investment-law practices. Your work may include, for example: Reviewing investment-related documents in connection with existing and potential investments Researching, summarizing, and presenting legal materials – such as governance term sheets, shareholder agreements, investment agreements, and limited partnership agreements Reviewing commercial contracts in connection with BCI’s day-to-day operations Working from and adding to BCI’s legal precedents Helping with special projects WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The qualities below are what we look for; the mandatory eligibility requirements appear under the “Requirements to Apply” section.
