As a Senior Commercial Account Manager, you will develop new business and manage an existing portfolio of clients with revenues between $3M and $50M. You will provide financing solutions and advisory services that support business growth. Your work contributes directly to the success of Canadian businesses while being part of a collaborative and inclusive team. CHALLENGES TO BE MET Meet with entrepreneurs to understand business needs, challenges, and growth objectives, and recommend appropriate BDC financing and advisory solutions. Execute a sales and portfolio management action plan aligned with Business Centre objectives to grow and retain clients. Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship development. Review, structure, negotiate, and present financing proposals while exercising sound credit judgment. Maintain an active presence in the local business community (e.g., Corner Brook region) and leverage centers of influence (COIs) to generate referrals and new clients. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Experience analyzing financial statements (e.g., income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and assessing creditworthiness. Demonstrated experience in business development, including meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience managing a client portfolio and developing long-term client relationships. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain professional networks within the business community. For certain locations: valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
