Lead engineering at SDC, making technical decisions across architecture, infrastructure, releases, and priorities while coaching and growing the team. Own platform reliability and modernization, including OCI operations, release pipelines, migrations, version control, testing, CI, AI adoption, and customer transitions from on-premises systems.

You will serve as the sole engineer responsible for the entire technical lifecycle, including architecture, deployment, incident response, and vendor management. You will also lead product roadmap decisions, implement AI features, and ensure the reliability of payment processing systems.
On-site · Toronto
You will lead the Forward Deployed Engineering function by managing capacity allocation across pods and defining the doctrine for platform deployments. You are responsible for hiring and mentoring senior generalist engineers while personally carrying a hard deployment to ensure technical excellence.
