Intermediate Electromechanical Assembler – Pre-Assembly #239

Before a component intended for the rail industry moves on to final assembly, it must be prepared with care and precision. In this role, you will be involved in the early stages of the manufacturing process: inspecting incoming components, preparing parts, building sub-assemblies and ensuring they meet requirements before moving on to the next stage of production. Each day, you will work from technical drawings and manufacturing instructions to assemble mechanical and electromechanical components. You will also identify discrepancies, report technical issues, perform basic adjustments and ensure the traceability of manufactured parts. This is an essential role that helps ensure every subsequent stage of production starts on a solid foundation. **The tasks consist of:** \- Verify the accuracy and compliance of incoming components at the start of production. \- Interpret plans, technical drawings and work instructions. \- Prepare the parts, components and tools required for pre-assembly. \- Assemble electromechanical parts and sub-assemblies according to production priorities. \- Perform basic adjustments or troubleshooting on mechanical and electromechanical components. \- Report discrepancies, errors or technical issues encountered during assembly. \- Assist with updating work instructions when required. \- Record assembly times on route cards. \- Identify manufactured parts to ensure proper traceability. \- Perform the required final testing on assembled components. \- Complete quality control documentation according to established standards. \- Verify that all production steps have been completed before transferring parts to quality control. \- Assist with finishing tasks such as disassembly, cleaning, polishing, painting or welding as needed. \- Keep the work area clean, safe and well organized. \- Perform any other related duties. Salary: Between $23 and $28 per hour, depending on experience. Schedule: Monday to Thursday, day shift, 10 hours per day (40 hours per week). Status: Permanent.
