Our client manufactures packaging for the food industry from its plant in the Greater Toronto Area. The boxes it produces are shipped to food processing facilities, and the plant operates day and evening shifts. Our client manufactures packaging for the food industry from its plant in the Greater Toronto Area. The boxes it produces are shipped to food processing facilities, and the plant operates day and evening shifts. It is a small, close-knit operation where every role touches several parts of the business. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you are the operational right hand of the plant. You plan and sequence production, keep the food safety (SQF) system audit-ready, and act as the eyes and ears of health and safety on site. No two days are alike: part of your time is spent in the office on planning, reports, and documentation, and part on the production floor, close to the teams, equipment, and inventory. You work hand in hand with the Production Supervisor, without direct reports. This is a full-time, on-site position. This posting is for a current vacancy and is actively being recruited for.
